Warranty and Return Policy

Please read the following before requesting online RMA service.

Online RMA Request
    We accept only online RMA requests via our website (www.idteck.com). Once an RMA request is submitted, IDTECK's service team will review the request and provide an authorization code with a quotation for the service charge and delivery information. The return shipment must include the authorization code; otherwise, it may be shipped back to the customer.
    RMA cannot be registered without valid product serial number.
    Please send an e-mail to webmaster@idteck.com, if you have any problem or question regarding the online RMA registration.
Limited Warranty Terms & Conditions
  • Under the following circumstances, the product will be returned to the sender without being repaired or serviced :
  • - In case the product registered online and the product received are different
  • - In case the Serial Number has been damaged
  • - In case the QC Label has been damaged
  • - In case the product has been shipped without following proper online RMA registration procedures
Warranty Sevice

    During the warranty period, IDTECK will offer free-of-charge replacement on defects under normal use. However, for products damaged by the customer's negligence or lack of care within the warranty period or upon the termination of the warranty period, according to the purchase period, the RMA product will be replaced with the latest version product with extra cost.
Within Three (3) Years After Warranty Expiration
(ex. If the warranty period is 2 years, it applies to product that has been 5 years from the purchase date.)
Repair or replacement with Latest Version Product
- Return the old product to the manufacturer
- Pay 80% of current product price
Within Five (5) Years After Warranty Expiration
(ex. If the warranty period is 2 years, it applied to product that has been 7 years from the purchase date.)
Repair or replacement with Latest Version Product
- Return the old product to the manufacturer
- Pay 90% of current product price
Exceeds Five (5) Years After Warranty Expiration
(ex. If the warranty period is 2 years, it applies to product that has been over 5 years from the purchase date.)
No Replacement Benefits
(Need to purchase the product at the regular price)
Warranty Period

    IDTECK warrants products against defects in material and workmanship for a period of TWO(2) YEARS from the date of original purchase except for products categorized as RF Readers with Epoxy Potting and RF Passive Cards (LIFETIME Warranty) or RF Active Cards and Fingerprint Module/Sensor (ONE YEAR Warranty). (See below.)

Items not covered by Warranty
  1. 1) Defects or damage due to lighting or other electrical discharge.
  2. 2) Defects or damage due to natural disaster.
  3. 3) Defects or damage caused by improper testing, operation, installation, maintenance, modification, alteration, or adjustment.
  4. 4) Defects or damage caused by misuse, accident or neglect.
  5. 5) Unauthorized repair or disassembly of the product.
  6. 6) Installation, maintenance, or service of the product.
